If you do not wish to stay in the desert, still you can enjoy the evening Sunset Camel Safari with Dinner. After lunch you can leave Jaisalmer city by car (by your own) at around 14:30 hrs. (02:30 PM), enroot you can visit “Kuldhara- An Abandoned Village” around 19 Kms from Jaisalmer city. Kuldhara was established around the 13th century, it was once a prosperous village inhabited by Paliwal Brahmins. It was abandoned by the early 19th century for unknown reasons, possibly because of dwindling water supply, or as a local legend claims, because of persecution by the Jaisalmer State's minister Salim Singh. After visiting the Kuldhara, continue drive to Exotic Luxury Camps around 31 Kms.
On arrival at the camp enjoy welcome drink and proceed for 1 Hour Jeep Safari in Sam Sand Dunes. Jeep safaris are the fast and comfortable way to explore the beauty of the Thar Desert of Jaisalmer. Embark on a journey where a trained jeep driver will lead you to the thrilling trip into the Thar desert. A bumpy jeep ride with ups & downs on the dunes is very adventurous and fun filled. It is possible to enjoy a more comprehensive tour on the jeep. It is more adventurous and it is one of the many reasons why tourists love to go to Jaisalmer. The Jeep enables tourists to go around the area and see the beautiful surroundings more clearly. The Jeeps used for the safari are generally 4 x 4 keeping the top open to enjoy every bit of the tour. This adventure will gift you the memories to last a lifetime.
After the Jeep Safari you will get the Camel on the dunes itself to enjoy 20 minute Camel Safari. Camel will drop you at the Sunset Point. The camel ride in the sand dunes is a great experience where you can enjoy unique views of the shimmering sand and watch the sun sets over the desert. Camel Safari is a wonderful fun filled experience and we are sure that it will be a memorable experience for you. We employ local camel and jeep drivers, who can share their vast knowledge of area, and the natural and cultural resources of thar desert with you. Enjoy the Sunset and spend sometime on the dunes. Later, you will be transferred back to the Camp by the Jeep.
After fresh n up be ready to enjoy the evening with cultural folk dance followed by dinner. To enjoy the evening, you will sit around our huge camp fire under the countless stars above to experience the unique traditional Rajasthani folk dances performed by local artists. Also enjoy the lite snacks with Chai (Tea) or Coffee being served during the dance performances. After the Cultural show enjoy traditional Rajasthani dinner and return back to Jaisalmer city (by your own).
